Family Reunion 2009

FamiLee got together August 14-16, 2009, in Chicago. Thirty four of us came from different states of US and Japan. Thank God Halabugi could deliver God's blessings to us. We want to thank the Chicagoans (The Lius, the Lees, the Seos, and the Oks) for their hospitality. We missed those who could not come. God willing, we will get together next year in Chicago to celebrate our grandparents' 90th birthday.

Aloha

Here are more pictures from Kauai, 2009. Thank you sisters for the wonderful time together.

Beautiful condo where we shared many improvised meals and drinks.
It had a herbal garden and we sampled a few crops for our meals.

Tropical drinks and dinner at the Beach House
We had the best seat to watch the sunset.

One of the winning kayaking teams

Secret Fall - it was worth the laborious kayaking and hiking.

I'm about 9 months late in posting this...

Hi FamiLEE,

Thank you for supporting me either financially or in prayer during my missions trip this past June. It was life and perspective changing. Thank you cards should be going out by the end of the month, I'm really genuinely sorry about not sending them out sooner. I'm solely to blame as my mom has been hounding me since I got back. Here's a recap video of some of the things we did there, and again, thank you so much for your support.

Also, if you would like to talk about it in person whenever we see each other again, I would love to share more with anyone interested.

Thanks again,
-steve

Sisters in Kauai

I see that no one wants to move beyond the last Christmas, but what do you know, it is already March.

Four sisters made it to Kauai this year, we missed the two, but we managed, especially without Haeyoung's cooking. Shinae Unni challenged us to memorize Scripture verses, so we memorized Philippians 1:20-21, 2:13-14, 3:12, and 4:6-7, with the help of sticky notes on dashboard while we drove around.

On the way to Secret Fall, after about 45 minutes of kayaking.

At the National Botanical Garden.

Monk Seal taking a nap at the beach.

Dinner at Kintaro. We also had dinner at the Beach House restaurant, watching the sunset.
